Christiane Denayer, Belgium


My passion for watercolor was revealed in 2015. Self-taught at first, I love the infinite possibilities of watercolor. It is a living matter that is revealed little by little as we gain confidence….   I explore its transparency, its indocility, its fluidity.

I took courses at the Academy of Arts in Namur (2017-2022) as well as many exciting workshops with international Masters. I have exhibited in Belgium, France, Italy and Argentina (2019-2023).

I use pure instinct : an ample gesture that expresses feelings and emotions on paper. Each artwork has its own story…Don’t let yourself be won over by the naïve and colorful look of the painting hiding the depth of the subjects … 

I enjoy trying new approaches to Art so I associate ink to watercolor which brings a light touch to the composition.

Through colors, the juxtaposition of hot and cold, dark and light, transparent and opaque, strong features, by re-arranging little fragments of colors, lines, dots or shapes, I try to arouse an emotion, in an inner approach that tends more and more towards the abstract ...

I graduated from the Institute  from the  the Moscow state academic art Institute named after V. I. Surikov at the Russian Academy of arts. Fatima Zahab Saniei, Iran

Born in Isfahan (Iran), she holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.  Self- taught artist, she first followed the realist style.  As any artist, she needs to explore and create, thus searching on networks for other artists who had different styles to what she was used to see.  She has been influenced by Alvaro Castagnet, Paul Ching Bor.  Her style evolves and she creates her own technique.  The situations she has been through and the artists she met have represented an important influence in the evolution of her style, receiving the support of these artists in the development of her career, who also gave her the chance to share projects with them.
