Rathin Kanji, India


Rathin Kanji, Kolkata based Indian artist was born in 1970. 

He was a Fulbright Visiting Research Fellow at Penny W.Stamps School of Art & Design, Ann Arbor, University of Michigan, USA, 2004. 

He did Post-Graduation (Painting) from Kala Bhavan, Visva-Bharati University, 2002. 

Recipient of Fulbright Fellowship, USA (2003-2004); Vermont Residency Fellowship, USA in 2004, Junior Fellowship, Govt. of India (1998-2000). 

Participated at Art Basel, Miami & Hong Kong, and other Art Fair in Dubai, New York, Thessaloniki, Paris & Rome. 

Exhibited at 11th Triennale Mondiale de l’Estampe Chamalières, France; Adana Biennale, Turkey. 

Installations & New Media project, CIMA Kolkata 2018;

I graduated from the Institute  from the  the Moscow state academic art Institute named after V. I. Surikov at the Russian Academy of arts. Fatima Zahab Saniei, Iran

Born in Isfahan (Iran), she holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.  Self- taught artist, she first followed the realist style.  As any artist, she needs to explore and create, thus searching on networks for other artists who had different styles to what she was used to see.  She has been influenced by Alvaro Castagnet, Paul Ching Bor.  Her style evolves and she creates her own technique.  The situations she has been through and the artists she met have represented an important influence in the evolution of her style, receiving the support of these artists in the development of her career, who also gave her the chance to share projects with them.
